The Bible reveals that life, the real life, is the Triune God Himself. Thus, the experience of life is the experience of God, and God is life to us in Christ His Son. In order to experience God as life, we must experience Christ as life. In the experience of life, there are a number of practical dealings we must pass through. Seeing the truth concerning the first experience of life, the sense of life, the law of life, the fellowship of life, and the discernment of soul and spirit are preparation for the practical dealings with our flesh, our self, our conscience, the world, and our spirit. Ultimately, these experiences issue in our transformation “from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit” (2 Cor. 3:18).
