We need to appreciate two wonderful gifts that the Lord has given us: the Bible, which we have in our hands, and the Spirit, whom we have within us. Throughout the centuries the Lord has mainly been recovering two matters—truth and life. Ever since the Lord began to carry out His move among us in mainland China in 1922, He has been recovering both the knowledge of the truth in the Bible and the experience of life in the Spirit (1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Tim. 2:15; John 10:10; Col. 3:4; Rom. 8:2, 6). The Lord has led us to seek the truth according to the Scriptures for the growth in life.”
